These were adorable for my son's 3rd birthday. I made the cupcakes in these and colored the frosting blue and used the flat side of a butter knife and lifted it up to make the frosting look like waves. I cut out pirate ships with my cricut (a machine for scrapbooking) and put them on toothpicks and stuck them in the cupcake so it looked like the pirate ship was sailing on rough seas. It turned out really cute and not too scary like a lot of pirate stuff is. My son doesn't mind that but I didn't want other kids crying over cupcakes! :)
